Best Ever Traditional Christmas Cake Recipe

Pre heat your oven to 180 degrees celsius (10 – 15 mins)

INGREDIENTS ( For 2kg Cake)

* Dry fruits soaked in wine and rum (1 kg) Recipe in link 👇🏼

* Cashew nuts

Dry ingredients
1. All purpose flour – 2 cups
2. Finely grounded almond powder – 3/4 cup
3. Baking powder – 1 tsp
4. Salt – 1/2 tsp
5. Cinnamon powder – 1/4 tsp
6. Nutmeg powder – 1/4 tsp
7. All spices – 1/4 tsp

Wet ingredients
1. Unsalted butter – 1 cup (225 grams)
2. Firmly packed brown sugar – 1 cup (210 grams)
3. Large eggs – 3
4. Zest and juice of orange – 1
5. Zest of lemon – 1
6. Vanilla Extract – 1 tsp
7. Honey – 1 tsp

Bake your cake for 80 -90 Mins or until your skewers comes out clean.
(Since we are all using different ovens time might vary. Please keep an eye on your bake)

Cover your cake in Aluminium foil lined with cling film and store it in a cool place or in refrigerator.
